I agree. They have to remember this is a site for people with ASD, where this may be their only outlet, and this is very frustrating with all the bugs.

I'm beginning to think I should try and find another ASD forum, until this is fixed.

am not sure its money that is the problem,its alex getting the time to upgrade the lot.
it takes a lot of doing to upgrade forum software,especialy if any mods installed or custom scripts and theres quite a big jump in the software edition.

Even though the site may not lack for money, work gets done faster if people trade money for time. The amount indicated above might not accomplish very much, but I wouldn't call this thread a well-crafted fundraiser.

Would happily contribute a fiver a month towards making WP a smoother and therefore more enjoyable experience. Any collection would have to offer Paypal though as I have no other way of contributing.

Just a thought, I use 1 other forum, have been on there for 10+years now. In the beginning they also used Vbulletin but it cause so much aggro eventually they changed. They tried different platforms over the years and now use this one http://xenforo.com/ and I love it

All I know is another forum of mine had glitches that went unfixed until the entire site had a complete server failure that lasted almost 2 weeks and too round the clock work to fix. Maybe that's what it will have take here. Like I said, I appreciate WP and hate to complain, but it's just getting to the point where I am hating this place because of huge amount of aggravation. I don't want to end up throwing my tablet against the wall.

Money isnt an issue AFAIK.

Other projects, helping out with the bridge series for example, appear to be on the way though

Alex could use the money to hire someone to fix the site. If I had abit of money I could spare I would pay for the cheapest paid membership. Unfortunately we cant donate money without paying for a membership option

This site generates revenue. Clearly, said revenue is not being utilized to improve the site. That is the Owner's choice. The complaints are continuous and fall on unresponsive ears. Our choice is to leave or accept the desperately flawed site, knowing it will not improve.

I've been on many sites with LESS revenue and users that don't have ANY of these problems.

So, it is up to you.
