new users who get deleted

a couple month ago,there was new user that came
on WP,he wasn't a spammer,but he wrote around 12 post,
next thing I know,all his post was deleted,and his
user name wasn't even on wp master list.
So,what causes new non-spammer members
to get completely deleted from this site.

even alot of new users who get banned,you
can still see their post and their username,
but this user got completely deleted,username
and post are all deleted.

If someone gets banned and they sneak back with a new account pretending to be someone else (i.e. a sock puppet account) they are deleted along with all their posts.
