Header stories out of date - makes site look weedy

One header story relates to the Christmas holiday and another is about a TV show airing last Fall. All in all it gives the impression things are not being updated/refreshed.

There are plenty of new stories and developments in the world of autism. Research and studies on autism is at an all-time high and numbers in the many hundreds yearly. Some are highly significant and potential breakthroughs.

Oh, I never see them. If that is part of the Index page I've got my browser set to block all the crap at the top of the webpage.

I agree, OP -- it's the articles on the front page that are actually part of Wrong Planet, such as "5 tools to get through Christmas (and other family holidays)".

Very useful at the time, but we're heading for summer and it looks bad that a Christmas article is still the top "news" on the homepage. It would be nice if this segment got updated regularly, like a news feed on autism research news and development for example.
