why am i suddenly being required to complete "captchas in order to post responses

Because its your turn to be harassed by Cloudshite.

Unfortunately CloudFlare seems to:

a) randomly pick on someone to pester with Captchas - it has happened to me and I ended up leaving the site for a few weeks and
b) sometimes it takes a dislike to embedded html or img tags and the solution is to remove them.
c) Sometimes it dislikes the IP address you are posting from claiming (falsely) that your browser has got malware on it.
d) There are times I've sent or tried to send a PM as a moderator to a user but CloudCrap gets in the way blocking it. In the end I've given up.
e) CloudFu*k even stops me doing moderator or Admin duties sometimes at which point I log out a say to myself "f*ck the site" and I don't bother coming back for a day or two.

^ CloudFlare drives me nuts sometimes. There is no logic nor reason behind its actions sometimes. When it gives me crap nowadays I just walk away from the site for a while until it sorts itself out or decided to give someone else a load of shite instead.
