This is both on my iphone and on the library computer.

And yes, it's becoming a problem. And I appreciate everything everyone does to keep WrongPlanet going and to build good civics and good treatment of each other as standard habits.

I do think we need to look at the slow-loading issue and address it if possible.

I think its cloadflare
I keep getting this DDos protection page on all my devices it adds an extra 15 seconds to the load

i've been experiencing this
almost half the time i post, i'm greeted by "error in posting" or "failed to load smilies data" or sometimes "error in posting" when my post doesn't go through at all. rarely it fails to load completely.
i think all posters have noticed this however.
but i don't remember cloudflare when i joined. it it a new thing?

On my iphone, I sometimes carefully pick "Select All" and then "Copy" just to have a back-up.

IT isn't Cloudflare. If if was - I would be having the same issue in my site(s) and I'm not. Pages on my site load in well under a second.

CloudFare DDoS is supposed to flare up automatically while the page is loading. It doesn't actually affect how long the site takes to load. This forum software is ten years old and the only updates it's ever gotten were some modifications. There hasn't been a new article in ages as far as I know. I don't even think Alex really thinks about WP much anymore. I see him doing stuff on Facebook all the time.
