Why has the popularity sank for this site?

I noticed just a few months ago the posts were averaging around 30 new posts a day but as of late it has dramatically sank even despite it being summer (which for almost all sites means more traffic) are people just ditching the site? or is it because people are seeing site problems grow? I think the sites mods need to figure out a way to increase traffic for the website because I don't want to see this forum die off into irrelevancy because I truly like it

WP is like any other niche forum; it has a small, tight-knit group of regulars, and a bunch of people who join one day, post a few times, and never come back. I've seen this happen before, it's not too big of a deal. Even though WP is a great deal larger than most of the forums I've spent a significant amount of time on, the same principle applies.

A few months ago .. would that have been during April (autism awareness/acceptance) month)?

After you've been here a while all the conversations get really redundant. THat's not a flaw really, it's just the nature of the beast. New people come and ask the same things you asked when you first came, then it repeats again and again and again.

Its up to older members to start new discussions. PPR is pretty dull for instance and the same ideas keep getting tossed about.

Its a combination of things: people can only discuss the same things so many times before it become tiresome plus all the site problems make it frustrating to post on here - assuming the site will even let you.
