YouTube Tags Not Working

The videos don't appear; the URLs just appear as basic text.

Yeah, its a bit of a pain, but most issues are usually because I forget to remove the s from the https:// from the browser address bar link, that way, it should work.

It is old tech as other sites have often no issue with secure links or shortened share friendly links.

Yes, I agree with what previous poster wrote-after inserting the link, go in and delete the "s" after the "http" in URL. Voila, the video thumbnail appears.

i posted some a few days ago that only showed the link, the video did not imbed. i just found this thread and went back to edit my posts..... but they are already http, not https. any thoughts/suggestions?

Those videos fail to be embedded because the short-form YouTube URL "youtu.be" is used.
Only the full "youtube" form will work.

8O silly me - i clicked on the "share" tab, then copy/pasted straight from the address youtube gave me. thanks, i'll play around with it and see can i get them working.
