why is it sooooooooooooo hard to upload a photo here.i have used my father as an avatar for 4 years and its time for a change.

ive been trying for a week now and cant get the size right,why cant it be like facebook where you submit photo and it automaticly sizes it for you.

also since the redesign of this site it wont save my password and keep me logged in.also I cant ajust my custom rank anymore either
can someone help me

i can't do anything about custom rank myself, but it's said that it will be fixed soon.

if you PM me any image i could resize and crop it for you if you'd like, you just tell me how you want it.

The maximum dimensions are; width: 130 pixels, height: 160 pixels

It is also very important that the file size is: 25.53 KiB.

If you do not follow these rules when uploading an image it will not work sadly.

You can get the file size lower if you choose "save for web" in photoshop.

there's a bug with avatar images right now so don't change any avatars.

I think there's an issue with the site distorting the avatar dimensions so even if you upload a new avatar successfully I think it could display with the wrong aspect ratio

it's not visible in the threads (on my end at least), but it's very clear when i go to the "warn" screen for example.

yeah, i didn't get your image.

not even my wife could put a photo in a pm.the only thing I could think of is friend me on facebook and I could put the photo on your wall or in a message.then after you resize you could unfriend me.but that's asking a lot and I would not expect you to do that.

alex, please get automatic resizers like facebook has where you select a picture and it automaticly sizes it for you

I have no idea what a pixel even is or what KIB even is.your post could have been in sanscrit

that's why wrongplanet desperately needs automatic resizing like FB or twitter.submit photo and the computer does some hocus pocus and you have a perfectly sized picture
