I tried to insert a reference to an earlier post, in fact it was my introductory post in Getting to Know Each Other from when I joined, then discovered the post is gone.

In fact, it seems there is a huge time gap surrounding my join date.

I'm sure others have noticed this. Any response from the admins?

Many threads that originally contained 50+ pages of replies have shrunk down to 1 - 5 pages, and some threads have disappeared entirely. The forum members deserve to have their posts restored.

Well in my case it was the entire thread, in fact all threads begun within a certain time interval of a couple of weeks or more, have gone missing.
