notifications?

I wonder if it would be possible to get notifications when someone quotes your post...because I would like to know when someone's commented on one of your posts without having to go back and check every thread you've posted on. I don't know if there is another way to do this, I'm just wondering.

a valid suggestion that certainly could be useful - right now the closest substitutes are the "view your posts" feature that shows replies to every thread you've posted in, quoting your specific post or not. and of course, subscribing to a topic.

but yeah, it can get tedious even checking through threads you're sure you've posted in, especially if it's gotten a lot of other replies since you've been quoted, just to uncover one post.

and - a way to "blacklist" or flag certain topics (my personal example: counting threads i don't post in anymore) so they don't show up in "view your posts".
