Hello -

I was a member of WP almost ten years ago under a different account, and I'd like to delete the posts associated with that account. They're full of personal information that can be tied to my real identity. At the time I made these posts, search technology was not what it is today, and fewer people were in the habit of searching for associates/employees online. I cannot log in to my old account since I no longer remember the password (and even if I were able to log in, I don't think the WP forum engine allows users to delete posts - or at least not this long after they were submitted).

Thanks in advance for your assistance. This matter has been causing me quite a bit of stress, and it would mean a great deal to me to have it resolved.

First read this thread: http://www.wrongplanet.net/postt204272.html

Send me a PM with details of your old account name and those posts you want deleted. Note that we don't delete all posts (e.g. if you have made hundreds or thousands of posts) so please provide me with links to no more than four or five posts containing personal/sensitive information for removal.

TallyMan,

This is 'helpwitholdaccount.' Thanks again for your assistance last time. It appears that the new 'tablet' format of the web site has resuscitated the posts/threads you deleted for me before.

I would be willing to make a sizable financial contribution to WP in return for having the posts associated with my old account (username 'seethaki') deleted.

Please advise, and, again, thank you.

Addendum: It appears TallyMan is no longer active here, so the above is addressed to any other moderator/administrator with the ability to delete posts/threads.
