Why hasn't my information updated publicly?

I changed my profile picture and display name, and in "edit profile," it shows that I changed and saved it, but publicly, my old profile picture and old display name still remain when I look at posts I make.

I'm having through same problem and it is vexing me. I like to change my avatar once in a while.
