I had made a long reply on one of the GAD threads, and it was a good post with a really good point, and I pressed submit, then after a few minutes of browsing around on the forum I came to the my posts page, and I didn't see my post at the top. Then I clicked on to the thread where I had made the reply and it wasn't there either. I can't believe I have lost something I wrote so well. I can't remember what I wrote now. I am so frustrated!! ! :x

Ugh.

That particular glitch seems to be happening to a lot of people lately.

When you hit "Submit", and it takes you to the page, that says something like: "Your post has been entered successfully"----if you don't scroll-down to see what it actually says, it MIGHT say, something like: "Someone has posted to this thread, since you were on it. Do you still want to add this post?" If you don't, then, hit "Submit", AGAIN, your post will NEVER show-up.

Also, I never, ever, EVER, make a post without "select all" and "copy" (Microsoft product)----not even a one word post! I don't keep what I "copy" (meaning, I don't "paste" it), unless it's one of those posts you mentioned, here (one I worked really hard on)----then, I "paste" in into my Word Processor, and save it.

^^^ Yeah, with longer posts I always select my text and ctrl-c before I submit it. I've had posts being eaten or disappearing into the black hole where all the borrowed pencils go.
