Wrong Planet Freezing on load new thread, Error 502 etc

In the last week or so Wrong Planet has freezing sometimes for 10 or 20 seconds when loading a new thread. Sometimes I just have to go out of Wrong Planet and come back in and sometimes it is still frozen and not available and sometimes there is a not available error message. This happens several times a day.

Other websites concurrently load fine and I have noticed this on latest Chrome, Firefox and IE11 so it is not my connection.

Exactly the type of problems all the new servers were supposed to solve. The old software loaded webpages more reliably then the new software has been loaded webpages recently.

That happens to me a lot when I post or edit, WP just hangs and doesn't load.

Happens to me, too. It seems to happen randomly, even when I just try to view a thread. A lot worse used to happen with the older version of WP, taking minutes to load or not loading at all. The new WP hasn't been as bad but I would expect an upgraded version of the site to be free from this sort of problem.
