Mine too. My post is lost when I try to quote someone.

I can't use quotes except for very brief PMs.

My fresh text doesn't always go through.

So that's whats going on. I try to avoid suspicious links, and now I find that a trusted 'site can't be trusted. Lovely.

Quotes, images, links, videos, taking "too long", CloudFlare doesn't like anything. For the longest time it's made it a pain to send any PM longer than a sentence or two. The last two days I've gotten captcha with 3 posts as well.

There are currently 3 new threads on it, so it's obviously a problem for many.

The most annoying part is the relatively recent innovation of clearing the text box after you complete the captcha. You used to be able to send it just fine, even if you had to solve a captcha every time you posted something or loaded another page.

Besides, it seems further progress is being made in the same direction: now, you can’t even recover your text with your browser’s “back” feature.

I made a comment about this, but it's gone and can't be recovered with the back button, illustrating precisely this irritating point.

What I don't understand is why only a minority of posters experience these type of glitches at any one time, then it seems to resolve itself, somehow, and then a different minority experience the same glitches. Am I imagining this pattern?

No, you are not imagining this. I edited a post four times today, and got "captchaed" only after submitting the final edit. The code was "210".

Probably not, Amity. I've had no problems with the issue in question for the past few weeks, though there was a phase before that when sending a PM was almost impossible. Let's hope that, if we're stuck with this wretched thing, it never masters the art of getting the entire active membership in its clutches in one go.

If it did, then it would be a sizable problem which would need to be addressed and resolved, as it stands though it is a temporary inconvenience to a minority of posters on a rolling basis. :|

That's how the pattern seems to go, Amity.

As long as this is going on, I highly recommend to everyone that you copy what you write before you try to post it, especially longer posts.
