WTH is wrong with WP now... keeps redirecting me to my page

Any time I post a reply, whether in a thread or a PM, it redirects me to my profile for some bizarre reason.

I've had that problem as well. I've also had to log in again. I don't know why it would think I've logged out when I didn't.

Yes, these glitches are annoying. Been happening to me too and the mods don't have the tools to fix that. It went to my profile the first time before I was able to post this reply.

We'll be bringing these latest problems to Alex's attention: of that you can be sure.

There's another thread about this Alex wrote in but I wasn't sure if he had seen firsthand how much this is affecting people.

I saw it. It seems to be linked to whatever he did to permanently remove the spambots that were causing so much trouble last month.

However, it's making things difficult for everyone now!

Yep, at east the spambots are gone now but now everyone's been complaining about having to log in all the time and get redirected to their profile. Another thing that's been happening is an error message stating that WP is offline!

Luckily perseverance works but we Aspies do tend to have a problem with impatience at times....
