Even though I keep checking the "log me in automatically" box when I get thrown to the log-in screen.

I can be logged in, reading a forum, making replies, and then suddenly the next reply I go to make, I'm on the log in screen.

I'm still having that problem too. I've been logged out 4 times in the last half hour.

That happened to me yesterday so I lost my post and couldn't be bothered making it again. Time for copying the post before hitting the submit button.

What kind of apparatus are you on? I'm on a PC + Win 7 + Firefox 35. My connection is cable broadband.
No severe problems.

Not sure who you're asking, Krabo, but I'm using a desk top + Win 7 + Chrome. It's been a problem for about a week now. Just today, I was logged out 6 times in about 40 minutes, which gets annoying.

^ I was asking anyone. - At least we can say that it doesn't affect us at the same time. What's your connection, Skilpadde?

^ Cable (via Telenor), but wireless between the router and the desk top.

I wish I could help you locate the problem. All I can say is that this time it doesn't seem to be an entirelly WP-related thing. Next time it occurs you could try to see what Web-sniffer says. Just enter the WP addy in

http://web-sniffer.net/

and hit submit. If WP is functioning correctly, web-sniffer will respond in a millisecond. If not, it will give a report.

P.S. The web-sniffer seems to have now this additional ReCAPTCHA field. Fill it first.

Hi guys, sorry I didn't know there were replies.

I'm on Windows 8.1 and I use a wifi connection but I've never had problems with it, at least not of a logging out variety.

Good to know others are being logged out a lot too -- well, not good but a relief I'm not the only one.

I will definitely try that web sniffer to see what comes up.

Yes, same for me -- been happening for about a week and can happen over and over in a short time span.

BirdInFlight - it used to happen to me, too, but it stopped after Alex finished the forum update, whatever it may have involved. There was recently a period when practically everyone experienced it, but understandably not every member reported it.

Yes, that's what I did when the whole thing started to bother me. Tricky thing with web-sniffer is that you must be fast and act before the situation in WP gets back to normal. You should have web-sniffer ready to go on another tab in your browser.

This is almost going to be fun to try!

Although, I'll bet now that I'm going to be at the ready with the web sniffer, it won't happen anymore.

^ Such weird things do happen. When you're armed and ready, the enemy is taking to the mountains.
