This is ridiculous! It's literally slow as dialup at times!

It's getting slower and slower. I'm using Google Chrome. It takes usually about one to two minutes to load a page, and sometimes it won't load at all. Many times I can't reply because the reply page won't load. I've been trying to get to the page to send a PM for the past twenty minutes, literally, and it won't load either. What has happened??

It's only this site too. The other forum I read and post on is working fine. So is FB and so are other sites I've been looking at. I also don't have multiple tabs open when this is happening. I've closed them all to see if that helped. Nothing else is running in the background either. I rebooted the computer. It didn't help. I ran a defrag earlier because it was slow as Christmas last night on this site only too, and that didn't help. I cleaned the disk and emptied the recycle bin. I deleted cookies and history. I did everything I could think of and nothing helped and it is only this site that is doing this.

It also logs me out when I'm in the middle of doing something. This has really gotten on my last nerve. Can you tell me why it's doing this and what I can do about it? My computer is a few years old but not that old. It was doing this on my daughter's laptop which is fairly new too, so it's not just that my computer is bad. I'm about to the point of not coming back for a while because I can't post replies when I want to every time and half the time I can't read something because it takes forever. It's reminding me of back when I had dialup and would have to load a page with a lot of graphics. I've been doing the same thing for this site that I did back then - click on it and then while it's loading go wash a sink full of dishes or fold some laundry or make a phone call. Just go do something and check back and see if it's loaded yet.

What happened?? This has only been since the update!
