Sounds silly, but what is "Today"?

Today is April the first, 2007, the day when WP passes the magic 10,000 members mark.

Well. I'm guessing, but that is probably going to be the case for Alex. (Hi Alex!)

It's already not the case for anyone in timezones more than GMT+7.

I'm on GMT+1 at the moment, which means the chances are that the 10,000 mark will be on April 2nd. here.

Actually, be all that as it may be, a suggestion...

The stats down the LHS - "New Today" and "New Yesterday". They seem to be Alex-centric. I'm not really objecting to that.

I was just tempted to suggest that they could be UTC-centric, member's TZ-centric, or "last 24 hours" and "previous 24 hours".

I'll shut up now.

9993 at 1230 here where i am and I think I am in the same timezone as the site... I am guessing that means it may happen today

I thought it already changed for each persons area depending on when they set their time
