Or, like me, such spammers and trolls that no one else has to.

It's really just a matter of quantity. There are enough that we
can stomp anything extreme.

...natural selection. The obvious ones are gone. That means that the "good" ones will likely become more common, the ones that can't be easily recognized. Everywhere has them. I just hope that it won't be too bad.

Yes, I'm paranoid. Yes, I acknowledge this could be nothing but said paranoia.

I'd say that the "good" ones are actually contributing members.
If there was no tolerance for spamming and trolling, this would
be a pretty boring site. It gives some of us a chance to unwind,
both from life, and from dealing with more serious issues contained
on the forum.

Well, the "spam" in the appropriate areas, that doesn't bother me. It isn't really spam at that point. Random, even off-topic posts. They add variety. In small doses, again, not all that worrisome. Spam for the sake of being disruptive, that's mostly been dealt with. That's the work of the "low-quality" malicious people, and the (likely one or two) few of them that were here don't appear to be here any more. (Come out, come out, wherever you are! :P )

The only thing to worry about is "real" trolling. People that post solely to get a reaction. People more concerned about the reaction than the people the reaction comes from. I'm not aware of any of this currently happening, but I'm constantly paranoid about it occurring.

We've killed a couple of blatant things, but for the most part, I
think that it's just the realization that there are now enough mods
to handle any attack that's making it not worth their time. I like
that - makes life easier.

Oh, I hope they don't. I like it peaceful.

So I guess people shouldn't complain about all the mods anymore.
