I like the changes to WP, the new forums. Would it be possible to have the 'Senior's quiet corner' that Paolo suggested a while back? It did get a lot of support. I think it would be great.

But kids might come in there and post polls/topics demanding to know why we have to be such buttheads.

You see? It's only in the idea stage, and it's already started!

Senior's corner = bad idea.

It was a joke, man.

(*in old man's voice) "It was all different before the war!"

I know; I was only kidding too.

Actually, why not? (There's a "Kid's Crater," why not something at the other end of the age spectrum?)

Actually, it was (we used toads and lizards as money, for example).

The Aspie Antiques forum  Sorry, couldn't resist. I think it is a good idea, but I would probably find myself dipping into, even though I am only 31. I mean, hell, my best friend when I was 11 was in her 70s.

I think that's the idea, that although it's for 'antiques', lol, it's for anyone who wants to discuss a topic in a slower, more thoughtful way, probably used by more seniors, but not exclusively, gosh no. I envisage it as a place where anyone can join in if they would enjoy that type of discussion.

Aspie Antiques would be a brilliant name for it. :)

And I had to walk two and a half miles uphill in six feet of snow just to...

Now what the hell was I talking about?

Rjaye, old as hell. Well, not really. Well, maybe to Ahayes and RedMage. Medium Age. That's what I'm going with. Medium age.

Check out the dino-aspie cafe. I think it's in the Getting to Know You Forum.

I think they know that is there but wish to have a proper separate forum section just for older aspies since kids, adolescents, male and female are represented.

I agree with you about having a separate forum for adults (not the current X-rated adult forum). I tried to see if we could get an aspie parent forum but Alex doesn't want to, why, I have no idea.

As in a forum for parents who have AS? As I see it, the problem is too many forums as it is. It's a pain to swing from one to another, especially since the topics seem distributed somewhat randomly (other than the interests). I would suggest perhaps setting up hierarchies of sub-forums, which would organize things better. It can be annoying, but it seems that there are enough divisions now to warrent it.

I remember having an invision forum...my God, the number of times I re-organised things as I wanted to cover so many different areas. I ended up just merging certain things to make room for others, but it was a trick getting the right forum titles so that people would understand what went where. I had a general forum to cover most random things, and a fun section for games, videos, quizzes etc...and one universal problem section to cover all problems.
