Why are some usernames in bold font? What does that mean?

Why are some usernames in bold font? What does that mean?

something to do with date of registration.

members registered after a certain date in 2012 (exact day i don't remember) have their usernames in bold, those who have been here before that, don't. in the profiles the latter usernames are in red, former black.

why this is...i have no idea.

I thought Alex was a programmer? His site is kinda buggy for him to use that title to describe himself,

Also no offense Alex, love the site but you really should work on the place. Some of the login buttons don't work, logging in as some users take people to other profiles, the age of users is frequently wrong, and my signature doesn't work. In addition, the captcha which I surprisingly don't have a problem doesn't seem to prevent spam at all in GAD, and finally I have had the CSS cause layout problems on some web browsers.

I see. It would be nice if all the usernames were in bold. It makes them a lot easier to see/pick out.

well, "developer" but it's mostly the same.

i think the date calculator for birthdays is just around a year behind. setting the year on my birthdate to the previous one fixed mine and quite a few others.

Ezra joined in 2013 and his username is in bold. Kyle joined in 2008 and his username isn't.

I remember asking about this before and I believe the reason that was figured out was because there was a window somewhere between 2013/14 that all these bolded usernames come from. Probably the version of the site that was in use at the time.

Oops, I misread what Kip posted. Still, my username isn't in bold and I joined only seven months ago.
