I just recently reinstalled Windows, and things have been running pretty great so far, but I've noticed that I can't use the YouTube embeds here because they require Flash. Ironically, YouTube itself works just fine for me, and honestly, I'd rather not install Flash if I don't have to. Flash support is diminishing among devices, and I think it's safe to say that switching to HTML5 would probably be a good idea. Flash has many security vulnerabilities as well as performance issues, and it's just one more thing to install that adds extra bloat.

Any thoughts? I think the Android/iOS/Linux portion of the userbase would be especially in favor of the switch.

If you use Greasemonkey or a similar addon for running user scripts, I've found an awesome script that replaces Youtube embeds with direct video links. It doesn't do HTTPS on here for some weird reason, but it works. https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/1590-no-embed-youtube
