If you can't figure out what you want to say within 300 minutes, then maybe you should reconsider posting anything at all.
The better tactic is to know exactly what you want to say before clicking on the "Quote" or "Post Reply" buttons.

QUALITY OVER QUANTITY type of poster, I like to have the option to come back to a Post and find new ways to improve upon it.

I'm pretty sure that the system doesn't work that way, i.e. it's an all or nothing type thing. He couldn't "change this parameter" for me, without changing it for everyone else.
