Impossible hurdles to post

Why am I finding it virtually impossible to post on controversial issues in the politics thread, but easy to post in others? I am asked to click on 'all the pictures with mountains', and then pass that test only for it not to post and for it go back to the message with my reply missing, so I have to copy and paste what I wrote. This kind of thing really isn't good for people on the spectrum!! !! !! !!

I find the same thing happens to me, although I'm using a mobile device, so I am able to click to go back to the page where my post is still there. I'm not sure if it's a problem on a computer, because I generally don't use one.

I suspect it's a false positive for a pattern. I had to a double picture captcha for the first time today while posting a PM. I also had to do a captcha in a totally non-controversial housekeeping thread in a hidden area of the board...

I have a times given up because I seem to be stuck in infinite captcha loops.

Up until recently I never encountered any infinite CAPTCHA loops, but I ran into a particularly nasty one earlier on. I wish Alex would f*****g do something about it.

It's happening on my computer. Maybe it's on a thread where you are posting a lot? It's really annoying. I'm trying to catch up with posts and have enough to do without going through silly extra hurdles.
