The reverse-Touring test in WP annoys me to no end. All the time! Yet it won't post my messages anyway, it'll just keep bouncing back to its original state and ditches everything I wrote. I know how it will sound to many of you but the Captcha always ruins my day! Makes me anxious, insecure, angry even.

I find if I quote anyone I get the Captcha I spend all that time typing it out with a stupid keyboard that doesn't type properly and then I get the Captcha.

I found that I can quote someone else, but not too many times in the same message. There are other situations when I get the captcha, though. Maybe it's triggered by some keywords and patterns in the message.

Once I discovered that one message got me the captcha due to having multiple paragraphs separated by blanks, so I "packed" the whole message in a single shot by removing the spaces and it worked. Hated being obliged to do that! I prefer to split my long sentences so that they become more readable.

I'm strongly starting to think "free site = staff and moderators don't seem to care much". It's literally like volunteer work to them, so many issues get ignored. Not trying to sound rude here, just stating my view on the matter.

I've only been here a little while, but the constant captcha issues and the nearly DAILY logout issues are getting very old. Why can't they just be fixed? Is any staff around to discuss this stuff and let us know?

I think the whole thing is a joke because we who are legitimate users get that when we try to quote another poster, while those spambots can flood certain forums with 90+ pages of gibberish.
