Avatar Question

Hey.

I've been having some trouble changing my avatar. I've already uploaded my new one in the "your profile" page, and I'm able to see the new one displayed after clicking "update profile", but it will not display on the actual forum posts. I can see it here though: http://wrongplanet.net/author/putusernamehere/

Has anyone been able to successfully change avatars? If so, what step am I missing?

Is your new avatar the correct size? I've not changed mine but originally when I uploaded it I could see it on my profile but next to my posts it was just blank. Then I realised that the dimensions of the image weren't right, changed it and it started to show up.
