In case no-one's noticed, Graelwyn and Bizarre are knocking seven bells out of each other. I like them both very much and it's horrible to see, I hate blood sports. Can't you put them both in the sin bin till they both cool down a bit? I wouldn't want to see either of them banned. Jeez! Where's a Mod when you need one, the place is usually crawling with 'em.

How do you get hold of a Mod around here?

Edited for language. :shameonyou:

They are not deleted! I divided the latter part of the topic from the away back thread as it did not belong there and made a separate thread. I then decided that considering the cussing in the posts that it should be moved to the moderator forum. However, since it is obviously causing issues I shall move it back and everyone can see me and bizarre laying into each other.

Unfortunately, it's not our place to put anyone in
the "sin bin," which Alex has clearly pointed out.

I wish to hell that the two members in question
would both calm down, and try and discuss this
without making any personal attacks. The underlying
issue - which I believe is that of overmodderation -
is an important one, and it seems that some of the
complaints require an answer.

It was limited to a couple of threads,
and has been fixed, to the best of our
ability.

Most are not aware of any over moderation but if your posts or your friends posts get deleted you tend to get upset. So moderators simply have to avoid doing such things
unless its super critical.

I don't think the problem is so much the overmoderation in terms of editing, deleting, and stickying posts, though that certainly plays a part. I think the attitude of the mod is the real problem.

One thing to remember is that we are human
as well. Though we must attempt to avoid
allowing our own emotions and views to
sway our moderating decisions, it is
clearly impossible to always do so.

Though, I think that discussing the
issue fully here, is a very good idea.

Point taken. I also didn't realize that you were one of
the mods.

Though, I do question my own humanity, I definitely
am under the sway of my emotions.
