Desperately need: aforum dedicated to off-topic discussions.

The Random forum is a mess. People see the word "Random" and think it's OK to usurp the forum with non-discussion threads, selfishly burrying discussions that ARE potentially useful to someone, by knocking them off the page. If someone is new to the forum, they'll not see those threads that might be useful to them. Thus, I hereby request that the Random forum be changed to Non-aspie/non-autie discussion and all of the non-sensical, non-discussion, invitation, and game threads moved to the Off the Wall forum (where they should've been posted in the first place).

Or alternatively you can post in the Adult In-Depth Section. There is no accounting for taste though.

It's always been that way. Even since I was around it's been the random spamzone.

The problem in your logic is you will turn the random discussion
into a ghost town with tumbleweeds flying around. Making some cosmetic organizational change to the forums will not suddenly have lots of like minded people posting in the random forum like you wish they would. Your frustration is real but your proposed solution will not solve the problem. Quite a few of the people who requested the "Adult In-Depth Section" are nolonger active members which suggest it did not solve their frustration either.

I've seen it for sale in some shops here but find it more salty than I'd really care for.
