Appeal for peace & calm.

Recently a few events have caused a bit of a panic on WP.
I appeal that if possible, members can refrain from accusing anyone else until peace is restored. I don't think this is the time to blame or to acuse. This is the time to make up even though we may have our differences.
Look. If we try to find fault we can keep going until the cows go home. Not sure what cows coming home has to do with anything... But what I am saying is, that it does not help and only makes things worse. So I appeal to all to look for the good side and begin to appreciate each others strengths.... And to realize how good this site actually is.

None of us is perfect and in this way we could all have accusations made against us... And what does that do to make us feel?
Every member who has left is a sad loss. So lets appreciate each other and have some tollerance so things don't get out of hand. Lighten up and have a sense of humour. Laugh things off. Do whatever it takes to let it all pass over.

To anyone who has been acused. Don't take it to heart. To those acusing. It would help if you stand backand "Grrr!" for a bit as things are getting a bit out of hand.

Lets think positive. Lets start looking for each others strengths. Lets make this site as an example which shines. We can only do this if we respect each other and appreciate that we all have differences so we won't always have the same views, so we need to allow for this.

There are good and bad in all of us. But lets support each other so we cover the bad, and let the good shine through.

Who's willing to forgive past hurts? If you can forgive you are BIG! (BIG is a word I use for major respect). Lets all be BIG! Lets all come together and conquor.

Brothers and sisters. We can do this. We can shine. We can be examples of an online community who we can be proud.
So shake off rhe past. Don't hold any grudges. Lets look forward to the future.

Quakers believe there is that of God in every person and that it is our job, here on earth, to look for that goodness in others. The more we look for that of God, or goodness if you prefer, the better for all of us. So, I definitely agree with MG. Let's have some peace and calm and looking for the good in the others, even the ones we don't like. Maybe especially the ones we don't like.

Sorry. What's a doughnut? I mean... Is it a technical term for something? I know I have not stolen any real doughnuts. Jelly and doughnut? Sorry. Confused! Haha!

Jelly is what Americans call jam.

There is no stolen jam doughnut.

I was kinda guessing it was a joke. The jelly bit threw me off. I reasoned if it was an American term it would be donut... But if it was British it would be doughnut... So jelly made no sense.

I really hope people calm down and I hope the spree of cyber bullying stops because obviously some members don't feel safe posting here anymore.This should be a safe place for people to talk and it's not and that's a shame.

Americans use the term jam,jam usually means something homemade or gormet,jelly means processed and condensed,like in a donut.We also use the term preserves,which also means jam or jelly.

This site is what we all make of it. I mean... It is easy for things to get out of hand where one person offends another, but that gets us all no where. To make things work, we need to calm down a little and then we can go ahead and speak without things getting too personal.
So what I was saying is for us to step back a little and have just a little calm and thoughtfullness so we can all be refreshed and happy again.

They sell lots of jelly doughnuts.

Americans use both "donut" and "doughnut."

A friend in Ireland liked doughnuts.
Here we had ordinary jam doughnuts but these days they put custard in some. Yuck!

Do you have peanut butter and jelly sandwiches in Wales?
