I am not too crazy about the fact that when Alex tries to tell me that I have posted a duplicate thread, he justs posts the link to the thread and locks the topic. For example, when I posted my thread that stated Drew Carey will be the new host of "The Price is Right," he just posted the link to the prior topic and locked it. I really wish he could have stated that in a full sentence, as in, "We already have a thread about this. I think we should lock this topic."

Also, Alex is very blynt when it comes to major issues that the site has. For example, when the one guy posted for advice for his friends with low-functioning autism, he said, "Troll. Locked." I think he could have just said something like, "This is a troll, and I am going to lock this topic."

On top of that, when he posts in regard to such matters like this, he uses very bad grammar. Case in point, when he posted the same message I talked about before, he wrote, "troll. locked."

Can Alex just use his shift key and remember to capitalize as well as remember punctuation, or was he in a hurry that day?

I think you're being overly picky.
The point of the message is clear.
Alex uses fine grammar for longer
posts, where it might matter.

As to the dup posts, I've often wanted
to do just that to many of the threads
which show up, on the same topic, again
and again.

Especially the quizzes.

The first and only thing I wanted to do was make my point, honestly.

He is a busy man. Even if not, who cares about the grammar, punctuation and longevity of a post that is only supposed to convey a simple message? You seem to be understanding it clearly. This is the internet, lighten up.
