MODERATOR ATTENTION: How to get help when you need it

Thanks - I'm about to split off certain posts to make a new thread, where the arguing can continue without pulling the current thread even further off-topic.

It doesn’t seem to have much to do with L&D.

It started in L&D and developed into an argument about how Autism is best described when affecting relationships, so continuing in L&D seemed appropriate.

There’s an obvious pattern of a clique-trolling/bullying against kraftie by nitpicking something he said and taking it waaaay out of context. Like deliberately putting words in his mouth and making him look bad.

Just check the thread you split for instance, this is a repetitive occurence. This time it was Isabella and TW, but other times few others joined the crusade against the “evil” kraftie.

I guess you mods are fair, right? No members should have any special treatment for bullying.

I have never bullied KK or any other member. Mods could read through the thread in question and see if they come to a different conclusion, though.

If I’m bullied, it’s nice to have support…but I have to learn to handle bullies better, somehow.

Life is about standing up for yourself, even if my rhetorical skills aren’t that of other people.

I have never complained to the Mods whenever I was attacked. I once complained when somebody made a pun on my screen name, adding one “K” to my initials.

I seek to stand up for myself. Never rely on other people to “protect” me. I was rarely defended from bullies as a young person, so I had to learn to rely only on myself.

I don’t give a flying fig if I’m not as intelligent as some others. I know I’m viable and worthy of respect.

If somebody wants to bully me, go right ahead. Very few people know me very well, so I know the bullying is someone else’s problem, not mine. And I will defend myself. Wielding a smart knife is much better than wielding a stupid gun.

As they say in Trinidad: “you gotta handle your own stories.”

By the way: I don’t feel I was personally bullied recently.
