Is this a glitch?

The only information we have is the information related to the post - the where and when it was posted.
I think it extremely unlikely a post would transplant itself in time due to a bug in the system, and you have made posts around this time before, so... :chin:

Does it say "posted today" on the post? Maybe from other people's devices it says different. But I know I posted that a few weeks ago, not today or yesterday.

She's right. The thread itself doesn't appear in a google cache that I can find, but check the "similar topics" out on this cached (26Jan) page:

Suggests Joe90 made that post on the 22nd of January.

You may also notice from that same cached page that knowingtheautist bumps his threads. The bump notice disappears when someone replies to it.

I think that is what happened. Complete guess - I haven't ever noticed this before - but maybe timestamp of the last post in the thread is changed to the present time when it is bumped thereby making it appear at the top of the forum? Makes a sort of crude sense, albeit leaving Joe90 confused. I might do an experiment later.
