I think we should lift Richard from England's ban here because I spoke to him recently and he told me he has learned his lesson.

What do you all think of that?

He was known as Kosmonaut on this forum. Supposedly, he was acting like a troll, but fortunately he told me he has learned his lesson and promised not to post anything a troll would post ever again.

No, this was in the past!

I am being honest about how he had talked to me recently, and he did admit that he was acting like someone very unintelligent.

He has little problems just like the rest of us.

Really, he's learned his lesson!

Someone diagnosed with a more severe disability would have much more and more serious problems than him! He is not a troll!

I couldn't believe it when I heard he wasn't allowed to post here at first, although I don't know how much the person who told us he was banned is here anymore!

I don't know what goes through the minds of people sometimes!

Can we please have him back here?

Unless people have done something really horrible (ie death threats, crashing the site) I think they should be given one chance after being banned. Maybe say after three months, they can ask to be reinstated, but if they do the same thing again, or something else that warrants banning they are gone for ever

Temp bans, as warnings, make more sense.
But, if the site changed its policies significantly,
a (more or less) general amnesty might be
a good idea too - as some may have changed
over the years, and others may have been
banned too hastily.

I agree, people should get second chances but Richard should have his ban lifted because he openly admitted to me that he was acting like a troll. He also said that he would never do anything like that again.

How can you all tell that he tried to long on here using different names?

Treating WP and its members with contempt certainly seems to be an offense. Especially when he posts disgusting shock images in an attempt to harm people.
