Discord server

Would there be much interest in a WP discord server? Or atleast an unofficial one started by members? I figured it might be fun to have the option for more informal real time chats or watching a streamed film together and that sort of thing.

Some already exist.

I could PM the name of the person to talk to about the one I know of.

Ok there doesn't actually appear to be any servers that are currently active, so, we're back to square one.
I would start my own but only if there's actual interest.

I'm in that one, and more have been made since I first made this thread so my question has been answered. I figure it's a case of people making their own and inviting whoever.

Just FYI to all, that discord server isn't official by any means but anyone welcome. Be aware it is not a moderated space in the least, it has no ToS that isn't just Discord's ToS, we don't see to manage that server as any kind of community and presumably it will not live forever and is more a place for people interested in following along and helping us plan for the future, but social shenanigans are welcome.
