Please move all "game" threads out of the Random f

Please move all the "game", "post something random about...", "post something about the person above", "what are you listening to at this very second", etc threads from the Random and In-Depth Life discussion forums to the Off-The-Wall forum. It's really hard to follow discussions when the forum is being usurped by 20+ page non-discussion threads that no one reads (they go there to post in it, but not to read the other 20+ pages of posts). The problem is REALLY BAD in the Random forum. I don't know where else to talk about miscellaneous subjects with my fellow aspies, other than the Random or In-Depth forums.

While I agree that this would make
sense, in principle, it seems pretty
clear that the posters intended to
place those posts exactly where they
did. Random is pretty much just an extension
of the games forum now, and no serious
discussion can survive there.

I had these same thoughts, but 'twould
really take a decision by Alex to enforce
the topics of fora, rather than simply allow
people the choice, as they have now.

While I also agree in principle, I will have to say that the majority of people who post in the games in the Random forum also read the other threads. I am one of them and the people I hang out with in those game threads also post in the other threads. We also talk a lot during the game. It is more of a problem that there are so many repeated threads and truly silly topics that recently have been filling up the Random forum.

In conclusion, I would have no problem with them (Alphabet, Dictionary, Word Association, etc.) moving to the Games forum. In fact, they should be sticky threads in the Game forum. That is what I want. These, plus the Last Person thread to be made sticky threads in the Games forum.

RECENTLY? It's been that way, since
before you were a member. Indeed,
when I was first made a mod, the temptation
to do exactly what the OP suggested was
very great.

Seemed inappropriate to the instructions
that we were given. Indeed, I didn't tend
to move anything, without the OP's permission,
with the exception of a number of necroed threads,
which were not in their proper location, mainly
because fora had been added since the threads
were started.
