Thanks for your response. I hate to be dense, but I don't get it. I went and inserted two </p> at the end of the first paragraph, but nothing changed. Please do me a favor: In the following sample paragraph, show me how it's supposed to look in order to break up the paragraph:
A little consideration of what takes place around us every day would show us, that a higher law than that of our will regulates events; that our painful labors are unnecessary, and fruitless; that only in our easy, simple, spontaneous action are we strong, and by contenting ourselves with obedience we become divine.
Where to the tags (or whatever they are called) go? I did it like this:
