I currently use the "Finjan Secure Browsing" extension, provided by Firefox. I usually access WP by clicking on my bookmark entry. Today, I happened to use my browser, and got the above warning message! Can anyone tell me what that means?

I just installed the plugin to try and reproduce the behavior (yes, I'm bored :P ) but so far I've been unsuccessful. How did the warning come up? Was it when you clicked on a specific link or bookmark?

update: was doing some unrelated browsing on Google, I think it may have to do with the name of the HTML file you're trying to access. This is mostly a guess, without a lot of background on how the plugin works, but several sites with strings of numbers in the .html name had that error appear. Do you remember the specific link you clicked that caused the warning? If it doesn't fall into that (incredibly general) description, it must be something else.

As it is, even if the plugin works well, it really is a hassle for me to click yes every time I want to view a site that it thinks is potentially dangerous, if dangerous means that it has several numbers in the name.

I just put Wrong Planet in the Google browser. The page that came up, had lots of Wrong Planet links. Every single one of them had a warning red X next to it. When you hover the mouse over the X, it says the warning about extensions. I have never had this happen before, and am wondering if there's some glitch in the Finjan program. I tried looking up other things at random, and apparently, the Internet has become a dangerous place! Everything has red warning boxes next to it!

Note: I just looked up Finjan on Google, and it had a red warning X next to it! I really think something must be wrong with this extension program.

I think that's a safe assumption. I've already disabled the plugin, because I couldn't browse hardly any sites without clicking through the warning box. Either there's a lot more dangerous sites on the net than I thought :P or the extension is just not refined enough. It could also be that there's preferences for it that would get rid of this behavior, but I haven't yet looked into that possibility.

Well, I checked today, and there are NO warnings. I think we assumed correctly, that the problem was intrinsic to the extension itself. I originally had it set to only inform me if a site had suspicious behavior. That way I would only occasionally see a red warning icon. It's supposed to give green for safe sites, and red for unsafe ones.
