Why was what I posted locked

I posted something that I got off of an Aspie Christian website and was locked, no reason given. It was an article they had about a 14 year old autistic child being sued by autism speaks. I think when a lock is put on something we post, we should be given a reason.

Paula, there are already some active threads on this same topic. Alex (who, I assume, locked the thread you started) posted a link to one of them.

Some people have a hard time with a different opinion. That's what I'd think.

Thats fine then, i just think we need to be told why when we are locked....thats all.

I agree with you, Paula. If I posted something that was locked, I'd want to know why so if I did something wrong I could avoid commiting the same infraction again.

Then again, maybe it was locked so there'd be only 1 thread on the same issue, so all the comments on the topic would be together in the same place? I dunno, just guessing. Or maybe the thing you posted was, whats the word, trademarked? So it would not be allowed to be posted to another site? Although I'm sure we've done that kind of thing before and not gotten in trouble for it.
