I sent out a happy holiday email to everyone at the site. I'm wondering if anyone received it. Here is what it said:

Everyone here at WrongPlanet.net would like to wish you a happy holiday season. If you haven't visited WP lately, stop on by. We're going to be giving away books to random members this season. :-)

Have fun decorating and spending time with your family, but remember your family from your home away from home (that's WrongPlanet by the way).

I got no such email :( I wish I got one! Maybe it's because I clicked something that said I wouldn't get notifications of topics or something.. I dunno? I can't really remember. :?

Alex, I didn't get it. :( I'll check to see if my e-mail address is correct (I've been known to mistype it before...).

If no one has gotten it, do you think you could try sending it out again?

Alex, I hope you didn't take offense to my comments earlier. Everything is fine.

My "happy holiday" e-mail (Thank you) was waiting for me at 6pm GMT when I logged on tonight.

Only half a day at work, and the firm's Christmas dinner to go...

As of 1:30 a.m. Eastern Friday no email from WP. Not even in bulkmail-and the WP address is in my "accept email from" contact list. Disappointed. Prospect of free book gift appeals to me, but dunno' my odds of winning prize. It's okay, I'm not crushed.

Wow! It's looking increasingly as though I got a very individual welcome to Wrong Planet!

Either way, it's good to find you.
Have a great Christmas.
