I certainly do not wish to raise the ire of anyone, but I feel that many of the forums here have too many stickies. I was wondering if some of them could possibly be combined together to reduce the clutter?

Yes, there are a lot of them. Could they be 'weeded' a bit? I know some are necessary, like those in the Haven, but could some of the others be left to fate to decide whether they fall down the boards or not? :)

I do agree with you on the stickies. I like to see a thread rise and fall with it's own popularity unless it is a reference for folks (like the Member FAQ)

What I was thinking is that maybe some of them could be stuck together. Could I give an example? I feel I am not the best at expressing my idea.

For example, the resources thread and the ways of coping thread could be cleaned up and made into one big post (each individual block getting credit) Then it could be left open, thus reducing the number of stickies in the haven. Just thinking of ways to make it cleaner.
