I can stop things like that moron posting awful pictures. There are others too who could do the job, people who are on here a lot.

I think you'd be a good mod.

yeah is there any way we can put our name forwards? Cause I think what happened with that guy yesterday shows the site needs some help, as its expanding by the hour.

If you have to ask, you're not ready. As simple as that. I never asked to be a mod, I was conscripted.

Asleep. I live in Australia. By the time I was on the computer, lau had done it about an hour ago. I cannot be on all the time.

it took ages, the damage had already been done. People have left because of that situation. Thats what i'm saying, why can't there be more mods? I don't mean just me, anyone who feels they can help.

Rule number 1 on every forum is that you NEVER ask to become a moderator.

If you do, you will likely never be one.

are we at school or something then? 8O I just noticed that people were disturbed by what happened yesterday, and the mods here were too late. Why is there a rule that if you ask you can't be one, i'm just saying i'll help if needed.

I'm sure we will all be fine if none of us is made a mod. your first statement isn't logical, and your second simply shows why you NEED more moderators.

In my experience, the best bet is generally just having mods in different timezones, so spam isn't allowed up for longer than half an hour or so. But mods are still just human, and they still have lives beyond the internet, so you can't expect anyone to be perfect. Don't be too hard on them, it's not an easy job.

I think they do a pretty good job on here, given the size of the site and the way it's expanding so fast...

It's never wise to give power to those who actively seek it.

I could have been a good mod several months ago but now I don't have much time since work has ramped up again...

I think the mods on WP do a brilliant job - especially given the amount of time such a job would take.
