People were having a normal conversation! I'm sick and TIRED of mods locking threads and not giving any reasons for why they did it! it confuses and upsets me!

From what I see, it got off subject and became even more of an "adult" conversation. You were telling someone else to watch their language, in a thread you started that wasn't very "family friendly" to begin with.

Just my .02.

Then it should've just been moved to the Adult Issues Forum.

There are to many thread topics regarding PENISES, its either to short or missing something, or in this case, completely missing,
or some curious weirdo want to know how big it is. This topic has gone limp and is completely flaccid, besides this belongs in the adult thread and not in news and current events.

penis

I see adult life and adult autism discussions but no "adult current events" discussion. Maybe that's why it was just locked? I don't know.

Well if theya re going to lock a thread, they need tro explain why. If they feel it is too adult, then they should explain that so people will understand. Some already made another thread continuing the conversaiton about the article anyway.

They don't need to give a reason, they are permitted to move, edit or delete
any thread, that includes duplicate threads like the one the got locked.

It's stupid, and makes absolutely no sense for them to lock a thread without getting an explanation why. So say they dislike pink ponies, they could just lock a thread about that with out giving any reason, because *they* don't like it? It's completely unfair, and stupid!

^ I totally agree^

That's why lot of people don't like the mods here. I will never become one myself here which I know will never happen anyway.

You're absolutely right, it IS unfair. But the grim reality is that that's how people work! When they are in a position of power they will use their power to pursue their interests at the expense of those they have power over. If you want authority figures to play fair you have to give them an incentive to be fair.

I don't know why that topic was locked, but I would have favored locking it just because it had turned into a shouting match.
