Its the coolest thing around. Its the new black, and the new white, only much more colorful, like a rainbow. Like one of the hippest clubs around. But to be a member, you must already be a member, but in reality alot of people try it out at some point just out of curiosity.

Um. I think you are misunderstanding what the original person wants. This is a forum for people with Aspergers and Autism, to talk about that. Why should we have an LGBT section here? we already have the love and dating section. why are we so much better than everyone else that would would get a whole section to discuss out "gay" issues??? If we don't want to be discriminated against, then how about not having a board that sets us apart as different!

This is going to be coming to the debate for a male discussion board we pretty much rule the adult section so the women can have there discussion board we don't need one,

Nah, I wasn't being sarcastic.

But it looks like nobody gave you a straight answer. LGBT is Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transsexual.

You are right. It is sarcastic, and I will never fit in here at WP, even though I have AS. However, you are wrong that it is because of my attitude. I don't fit in anywhere. That is my fate. Or perhaps it is something more mundane, like my use of proper punctuation...

Lets actually talk about this instead of well doing what you were doing.

What is wrong with having a GLBT board??? You know it would be nice if we had our own little section to talk about stuff because guess what our issues sometimes don't fit in any of the other sub-boards. Also About the advocacy board I think it would be a nice addition for those of us who want to get the word out on issues and talk about that sort of stuff since again advocacy topics (minus autism related ones) don't fit anywhere else.

As far as I recall though, and I mentioned this earlier, I think Alex's response was generally, "he has not gotten around to it yet, but is not opposed to the idea" (paraphrase). Thus I was left with the impression that there was not any true opposition to the idea of an LGBT forum, just apathy. Without stating so explicitly, the powers-that-be sadly show through inaction how unimportant it is to them. I wonder if Alex is straight? haha.

Despite the above remarks it sounds like a good idea to me.

Would you offer to moderate it?
(Not that I have the power but it seems to me such a board would require somebody knowledgeable in such matters to take up the task of moderation).
