Isee that there is a 'women's only' discussion area so why not?

I've read that part of the reason why the average life span for men is shorter than for women is because men tend not to learn about "men's health issues". The subject of an awareness campaign at least in the UK.

There used to be a Men's Board but then they got rid of it over a year ago. I keep forgetting why though. If I remember correctly, it was because not many men posted in it so there was no point in having a inactive board. They moved all the discussions to the adult board.

1. As Spokane said, there used to be a Men's Board, but it was shut down. I also heard that inactivity was the main reason.

2. The "Women's Discussion" is not exclusive. If you look at it, you will see that many men post there. The main rule is that if an OP wants responses from women only, they must put "women only" in the thread's title.

These things came to pass gradually, before I officially joined the site. Maybe now that there are more members, there is a need for a Men's Discussion, but who am I to say?

I don't know why there couldn't be a men's discussion, if the questions were also about men's health and social issues, etc., and not just wondering if their penises were big enough, and polls about what size women's breast should be.

Or heck, even if it was just those kinds of questions. I think Alex had gotten a request for a women's forum, and had a men's forum, and then ran out of space and decided to get rid of the men's forum because the men were using that and the Adult forum, so why had two forums that functioned the same? There was some discussion, but I don't think there was any kind of push to get rid of the men's forum. I think it was a pragmatic decision.

the other way 'round, Rjaye. There was a mens discussion section that got bogged down with penis sizes and women's breasts ( with other discussions, I am not saying there wasn't any significant discussions there) but Alex discontinued it and started the Adult In-Depth discussion area.

If I remember correctly, I think there was a controversy going on about the content in that forum that lead to its abolishment. I personally didn't go to that forum, to know exactly what was there.
