I seem to get my posts duplicated a lot, any idea why?

Because you post them twice?

Actually, I can sympathise with this, at times, as WP gets busy. I suspect it is quite good at NOT responding when people hit "Submit" twice in quick succession, except that when WP is being "treacly", you wonder if you hit the button or not...

It happens to me occasionally.

Two ways of solving this: first, just click the "submit" button once. Be patient, WP is sometimes slow. If you double post anyways, it's not that hard to delete one of them.

What I ocassionaly do is that I open the main forum in another Window/Tab to see if my post made it, if it's not there, I click Submit again. Although I sometimes forget to do that.

Sometimes this happens to me. I think it happens when you click submit a couple of times, but it doesn't always happen when you do that. One time I facepalmed because I was sure I duplicate posted, and then I looked and I had not.

There was a member here who made a post and it got posted 5 times and he got accused of spam and he got upset and started acting like an ass. I didn't know at the time why he posted a suicide thread until someone said it had to do with that thread he posted.

Just an observation; the member wasn't being specifically discussed (or mentioned) so much as the situation arising, and a previous semi-crisis that resulted. Without the ability to examine the past objectively, how can we learn from it?

it always happens when i click the back button through a post i created, WP should automatically pick one of the two options as default and people can modify it in their user profile. that's what i have seen other forums do.
