Normally I would keep quiet in relation to politics; however, I myself have something to proclaim. I too was banned from the wrongplanet chat room two weeks ago. Why? I have no idea. No one has said anything or emailed me about it. I, of course, apologize for anything that I have said or have done wrong. Yet, to quote Machiavelli, "To have power is to abuse it". There are chat Op's that have been abusing their power in the past, and to more of my appalled sense of emotion, those in that chat room that beg the Ops to ban someone because they merely don't like them! What comprises this reasoning? It is as if the english people have to walk a tightrope correctly to gain in status in power (trying to quote the metaphor of Gulliver's Travels)! I totally understand banning someone for flooding, or spamming the room, or insulting another. Yet, I have done none of those things in there. But I find it completely blasphemous and heresy to create a family friendly chat room only to wipe out or exile or extinguish those from the chat room because they are not liked, or because someone is having a bad day. Oh, and isn't this chat room supposed to be a support room? HA HA HA HA HA!! ! I see nothing but insults and childish antics whenever someone is having a problem and needs help in there. And you aspies claim to be "better" than NTs...lmao!! !

Well, if it is fair (since I have no choice in this anyways) to you, I refuse to even enter a chat room of such a manner aforementioned; take my chat name away, and unregister me. I would rather stand before King Minos in the 2nd circle of hell than to be tormented any further and deal with such immaturity and political games as seen for the past year and a half in that chat room. At least King Minos was a fair and honest judge. Oh and have a nice day too.

Sincerely,
David (aka mathmusic)

I find the chatroom kinda useless, to me at least. I like PMs the most. I generally feel lonely on the boards, all the all the nice members make it much better.

I never even knew there was a chat room. Chat rooms are too fast for me to keep up. I like message boards and PM.

Me too. I've tried chatting in other forums, and by the time you've typed out a sentence, the topic has changed. It's like being in any other NT conversation! I don't like PMs either, really, because it's a little too personal.

I've noticed glitches in this chat room, sometimes I'll be permanently banned, only to log back in with no problem 5 minutes later. [another chat room] on the other hand has permanently banned me for good, probably because I called the founder out for being the arrogant prick he is.

This is exactly my feelings. I didn't know there was a chat room originally---then I tried it and have never been back. I too find chat rooms too fast for me. I feel like I am chasing a train or something---then I get frustrated.
