No, but I know I talk too much when they try politely changing the subject. I guess I have enough social cues to figure that's a bad thing :P

Last time I got that, I was in 8th grade. I was talking to my friend. I guess I talk more if I have a close friend. I don't have any friends in college, so I stay quiet. I always hated getting called on by the teacher and doing presentations.

I pretty much do the same thing in business psychology. I draw, I answer most of the questions.

It's gotten to the point where the teacher's started asking if anyone else knows the answer -.-. But at least he's nice about it.

Even when I do wait for an appropriate time, she never smiles at me or anything like she does at the other members of the class.

I can be right and have talked in a good time during class and all I get is "Uh huh, okay;" while others get praise heaped on them.

I think she feels that if she praises me at all, it will lead to more talking on my part; but really, if she would compliment me occasionally, then I would know where my boundaries were and what topics were good to speak on and I would talk less.

I don't have this problem in my other classes; not to this extent anyway. She just makes me uptight and as a result, I make more mistakes when I'm like that.

Torch her when at the end of the semester when they have to give out the anonymous professor evaluations to the students.

I'm so glad I found this forum, all of the previous posters sound like me :P
Sometimes I like to change it up a bit, in one class I always have my hand up, but in another class I never answer any questions; I just sit there quietly and set the grading curve on tests, leaving the teacher wondering "How the hell did he do that?"

Heh, this morning I swear I got a dirty look from a professor when I something. Pretty funny actually.
