I've got a Facebook account as well. I think it's a pretty nice way to keep in touch with friends while in college. You could also find a lot about events going on at your college through Facebook. It's interesting to compare Myspace and Facebook, especially when Myspace makes new improvements. It's almost like Myspace is copying Facebook, since it seems as if Facebook is starting to become more popular.

I joined in November 2007, it is a great way to keep in touch with people especially if you haven't seen them in ages, although it is sometimes best if they get in touch with me, unless they are people in the family which I have six of them on and mostly people who I met through the Rollercoaster Club Of Great Britain, who I have had messages from since I came back from Blackpool two weeks ago.

I have one! Created because my best friend moved to england and I missed her but the time zones were killing our friendship :(

then all of the people from high school and elementary school began adding me and being all 'yay haven't hear from you in years' - hated me then and want to be friends now... don't get it...

Meh.
I had an account. It was created out of indirect peer pressure, used it, got tired of it, deleted it. :\

I decided to resign from Facebook too and I have resigned from WP as it is too much pressure.

I didn't read all the posts, but I think I have the record for friends with 427. lol thats only because random people always friend me. Half the people on there I hardly even know, or I actually don't know. But hey, if they want to be my friend...

EDIT: I read the above post by Jerry, and he has 569. He added me a while back too haha.

I have one out of indirect peer pressure really. I mean, my entire college group spends most of working time on facebook. I have like, 6 friends - half of which I haven't met in person or haven't seen in years. Considering deleting it, but I guess there's no point.

I have one to keep in touch with my friends. I hate talking on the phone, so it's an easy way to get a hold of them should I need to. And I like all the snazzy apps like Pieces of Flair and Bumper Stickers.

I have an account. Not a wonderfully interesting experience, but some of the groups are interesting.

I have an account, but i don't see why some of my friends are obsessed with it.
I actually find it kinda boring.

I used to but I deactivated it at the beginning of the school year. I had like 60 friends on there, but I'd say 10 at the very most were real friends.
