Hello, everyone, it's StreakofEmerald here!

Sorry, that intro was completely unnecessary.

Anyways, I'd like to seek all of your advice on what I should do about my procrastination problems having begun when I started school recently. As of late, I've begun my homework at 6:00 PM on average (when the target time is 4:00 PM), oftentimes not finishing it until 11:00 PM due to procrastination during homework. The issue has gotten so bad that I've already missed a science assignment, an event of which is completely off-target of my goal to hand in all of my assignments this year. The fact that I enable myself access to the Internet likely has to do with the severity of this problem, but I'd like all of your opinions on what I should do.

Oh yeah, and the reason why this is posted here instead of on, say, Reddit's /r/getmotivated is because of the fact that one of the main reasons why I struggle with procrastination is because of my deficits in executive functioning due to my mild Asperger's Syndrome so... yeah.

HEY WHATS UP GUYS MINECRAFTPLAYER101 HERE BACK AGAIN WITH ANOTER VIDEO

either take medication if it may be an issue relating to attention deficit disorder or cope til you succeed - little things that could aid you with combating procrastination could involve music that stimulates you effectively whilst performing tasks, excercise for boost of dopamine love, creating yourself a very persuasive excuse to see through with your tasks ie worthwhile and immediate rewards for doing so and so (long terms rewards will not work, lost of interest may quickly occur)

you'll only get worded advice here which will not help you significantly if you truly have a moderate to severe issue with your executive functions and/or dopamine levels - ultimately speaking you will have to build upon of which you lack in order to compensate and this applies personally to each individual

i would know, im a source to this matter

ps - i highly recommend you give yourself a compelling reason to do tasks that are difficult to complete due to lack of drive and executive functions impairment as said before

this will play a big role if you sincerely have issues in regards to this topic, how you will do this i do not know

if it has no worthwhile significance, you wont be aroused

I am a champion procrastinator.

That's why I'm a clerk, instead of a professor.

Tell yourself you're not going to touch the internet until you've done your homework. (If your homework involves the internet, close down all your non-work tabs.) Give yourself a reward; say, after two hours of working, you can have 15 minutes on the internet, or after 1 hour of working you can have a snack.
